Fall 97   Bill McAdams and Jason Lizzi form a band which will become the hi-frequencies.

Summer 98   First official h-f show, with current member Bill Scully as fill-in drummer.

Fall 98   The hi-frequencies rock Christian Youth Center "The Wall," Butler, PA.

Halloween 98   First public appearance of Kate Daly on Fender bass and Jordan Weeks (The Fizzies, The Getaway Bugs) on drums. See rare photo!

May 99   The h-f record debut single "Junior Varsity."

July 99   Bill Scully joins band as permanent member. The hi-frequencies delight young and old at the Olde Fashioned Side Walk Sale Days, Bellevue, PA. See rare photo!

August 99   New member Bill Scully secures coveted Hechinger's "Going Out of Business" gig (Clairton location).  Band performs in store parking lot until power is lost.

November 99   The hi-frequencies perform live on University of Pittsburgh's WPTS.FM.

2000   Band opens for Dick Dale, Guided by Voices, and Los Straitjackets.

April 2000   Live performance on Carnegie Mellon University's WRCT.FM.

2001   Band opens for The White Stripes, Dick Dale, and The Cynics.

March 2001   The hi-frequencies record H-F House Party album.

May 2001   The band makes its live television debut on WQED's OnQ.

2002   Band opens for Holly Golightly, Dick Dale, and The Cynics.

August 2002   The h-f release their long-awaited debut self-titled full-length cd!

February 2003   Live performance on the morning coffeehouse on 102.5 WDVE FM.

June 2003   Band records H-F Pajama Party album at the Parish Hill Barn in North Park.

January 2004   Jayson Brooks makes his live debut with the H-F.

December 2005   Money Isn't Everything and Teen Regime Records compilation Regime Change released.

Fall 2008   The h-f begin working on new material for an upcoming full length album.

Fall 2010 - Summer 2014   zzz... zzz... zzz... zzz...

Summer 2014   HF regroups with new members Jenn Jannon-Fischer on bass and Adam Jannon-Fischer on Vocals and Wurly

November 2014   First show with new lineup!
